Drax is seeking input to ensure a tool it has created to calculate carbon emissions within the biomass supply chain is accurate, transparent and credible.

The company, which has converted two thirds of the 4GW drax coal-fired power station to biomass, said it wants to ensure the pellet supply chain is as low carbon as possible.

The consultation on the Biomass Carbon Calculator runs to 12 June. It is available here.
