More charge point firms for Electric Juice Network

Octopus Energy has announced that another four electric vehicle (EV) charging firms have become part of its Electric Juice Network.

Franklin Energy Life, Hubsta, Alfa Power and Plug-N-Go have joined the roaming service, which takes the total number of chargers in the network to more than 1,000 across the UK.

They follow Char.gy and Osprey (formerly Engenie) who joined Electric Juice Network on its successful Beta launch in May this year.

These additions will improve the network’s fast and rapid charging coverage, as well as its inner-city spread, and also add a stronger presence in the North West, Yorkshire, East of England and Guernsey.

The Electric Juice Network offers EV drivers a single way to pay for all their charging – whether charging at home, on the street, or while travelling.

Drivers are able to pay with their Octopus account across multiple partner charging networks with all costs appearing on a single bill.

The service is open to all EV drivers whether or not they are already one of Octopus Energy’s 1.7m customers.

The service is designed to offer a ‘one-stop shop’ solution for EV drivers, providing a standardised way of paying for charging.
