Polestar UK has appointed Matt Hawkins as Head of Sales in the UK as it continues to market its 2 electric performance fastback.
Working closely with the global Polestar sales team in Gothenburg, Hawkins will be responsible for the sales function across fleet, retail and pre-owned channels.
The Polestar 2 model range includes three variants with a combination of long- and standard range batteries as large as 78kWh, and dual- and single motor powertrains with as much as 300kW/408hp and 660Nm.
Over the last 12 months, Polestar has invested in other departments in its UK operations and made several key hires across the marketing, customer service and sales departments.
Since the start of 2020 the UK team has grown by more than 100%.
