UK flow storage firm RedT has signed an agreement to deliver two 40MWh grid-scale projects in Germany next year.

The arrangement, with developer Energy System Management GmbH (ESM), part of WWF solar, could see RedT deliver a further 690MWh of projects in the future.

However, the projects remain subject to financing.

CEO Scott McGregor recently told The Energyst that the company planned to deploy grid scale flow storage in the UK, and will “deliver at least one such project in the UK next year”, which will likely be in the region of 10MW.
