Smart Buildings Show 2018, the UK’s largest conference and exhibition dedicated to smart, commercial buildings, have announced the return of its influential panel debate.
This year’s panel, entitled ‘Health and well being initiatives in the built environment – fad or game changer?’, will be hosted by smart buildings influencer Mark Tyson, who has held leadership roles in Mitie and Capita Real Estate with a focus on property management, FM and sustainability services.
The panel will explore if health and well-being initiatives, underpinned by new standards and accreditation’s such as the WELL Building Standard, BREEAM In-Use and benchmarks such as GRESB, will lead to new ways of designing and operating buildings. Will we also see sustainability strategies pivot from an energy focus to a people focus?
Joining Mark on the panel will be; Josh Artus, director at Centric Labs, Debbie Hobbs, head of sustainability at Legal & General Investor Management and Ankita Dwivedi, former head of Gensler’s European Design Resilience group and advocate at Human Centric Design.
The panel session will be taking place at 12.15pm, in the Connected – Management Theatre on Wednesday 7th November at Smart Buildings Show.
