Visitors are invited to register their attendance at this year’s Cenex-LCV and Cenex-CAM events for the opportunity to see the innovative technologies that are lowering emissions across transport and energy infrastructure.

Across the co-located events, visitors will experience an extensive seminar programme, industry networking, a dedicated Government pavilion and exclusive showcasing of the latest vehicle developments in a motor industry test environment, including connected, autonomous, electric and shared innovations.

Both events are free to attend, held on Wednesday 7th and Thursday 8th September at leading motor industry test and event venue, UTAC Millbrook in Bedfordshire, with free parking also available for people driving electric and hybrid vehicles.

The event, celebrating its 15th year, will heavily focus on the emergence of new technologies and the latest advances, and exhibition spaces have almost sold out.

In 2019 more than 4,500 visitors attended from across the motor industry and energy innovation communities and the 2022 is expected to attract similar or higher numbers with the same profile of seniority.

CEO of Cenex, Robert Evans, said, “Visitors will be excited by what our exhibitors will be showcasing at this year’s event.  Also, the networking opportunities will be highly worthwhile with new contacts to be made after two years of lockdown.

“Cenex-LCV and Cenex-CAM are the perfect opportunity for those interested in the UK’s low carbon vehicle technology development and progress being made with connectivity and automation to see the latest innovations in one place.  It also provides expert insights as to the technology, policy and market factors that will drive the rate of adoption current and next generation zero emission connected and automated vehicles in fleet operations.

“A lot of work is underway now to pave the way for international delegations to return for the first time since 2019 and I’m looking forward to seeing them actively engage with UK attendees across all event features.”

Speaking after the events last year, one visitor said, “The standout for me is the way this event is put together, you have the networking, seminar programme and the opportunity to go outside to try some of the vehicles and speak to the engineers who have made it. That mix makes it a very immersive experience to be at. I really enjoyed the event and found it quite inspirational.”
