Moto Hospitality has opened a new ultra-rapid charging hub in Exeter, which features a total of 100 ultra-rapid charging bays.
Located at Junction 30 on the M5, the hub features 24 new Moto Charge ultra-rapid chargers alongside the site’s existing 32 Tesla Superchargers and 44 Gridserve high-power charging bays.
These new chargers deliver charging speeds of up to 400kW, allowing compatible EVs to add up to 100 miles of driving range in less than 10 minutes.
The Exeter site includes four dedicated charging bays for electric heavy goods vehicles (eHGVs),
Its layout also allows motorists towing caravans or trailers to remain connected throughout the charging process, removing the need to unhitch before recharging.
The expansion forms part of Moto’s wider ambition to increase its nationwide charging network to more than 4,000 EV charging bays.
