Arval UK now runs more than 63,000 battery electric vehicles (BEVs) in its leased fleet, equating to almost one-in-three vehicles.
The vehicle leasing company has published its 2025 Sustainability Report showing that the number of BEVs on its fleet has increased by 16% compared to 2024.
Arval has also achieved a 38% reduction in average theoretical tailpipe CO2 emissions in its fleet, exceeding its own 30% global reduction target.
As well as supporting clients with sustainable mobility, the company has been focusing on its own sustainability initiatives.
For example, there has been a 44% year-on-year reduction in Arval UK’s absolute energy consumption – electricity and gas – in its offices and a 59% reduction in operational carbon emissions compared with its 2019 baseline.
In addition, its own company fleet is 88% electric and it achieved 100% BEV adoption for all new employee vehicle orders placed in 2025.
Another key achievement was Arval UK earning a EcoVadis Platinum medal, putting it in the top 1% of all companies assessed globally.
This represents an improvement from the gold medal the company achieved the previous year.
