InstaVolt has opened an ultra-rapid EV charging hub at Chineham Business Park in Basingstoke with eight 160kW ultra-rapid chargers, providing drivers with fast, reliable, and convenient charging solutions.

The hub, located near the M3 and A33, is designed to serve local drivers as well as those travelling to and from the region.

Located in Frasers Property’s Chineham Business Park, the site benefits from proximity to The Exchange café, where drivers can buy refreshments while charging.

Frasers Property – which focuses on reducing energy consumption, increasing renewable energy use, and improving biodiversity across its developments – is committed to becoming a net zero carbon business by 2050.

The addition complements InstaVolt’s expanding network, which now has more than 1,800 chargers at 680 sites across the UK.

Richard Hawkes, Estate Manager at Chineham Park said, “Instavolt providing an ultra-rapid charging station at Chineham Park not only demonstrates our commitment to our own sustainability goals, but benefits our occupiers, helping them to more easily switch to electric vehicles.

“With an easy and convenient way to charge their vehicles during the working day, it will help with employee retention, attracting new talent and improving ESG initiatives across our community.”

Delvin Lane, CEO at InstaVolt, said his company remains committed to ensuring EV drivers can charge easily, quickly, and reliably, enabling more people to make the switch to electric vehicles.

He added, “The Chineham hub not only provides essential infrastructure for EV drivers but also supports the local community and contributes to the UK’s broader sustainability goals.”
