Home energy technology specialist Myenergi has partnered with EV charging platform Rightcharge to fully automate home charging reimbursement for company EV drivers and fleet operators.
By connecting the Zappi smart charger to Rightcharge’s system, the agreement means drivers are repaid automatically based on their actual domestic electricity tariff, with no estimates and no expense claims.
Also, fleet managers receive a single, HMRC-compliant monthly invoice that brings home and public charging costs together.
Meanwhile, Rightcharge verifies the charging session, helping fleets to confirm that reimbursement relates to the company EV being charged.
The integration also means drivers have more flexibility to choose the tariffs that suit them.
By linking EV charging with smart energy tariffs and technologies such as batteries, drivers can make greater use of cheaper electricity while helping reduce demand on the grid at its busiest times.
