Mobile power and heat firm Aggreko has appointed Heath Drewett as chief financial officer (CFO).
Drewett will join the firm, which now books around £1.6bn in annual revenues, in the first quarter of 2018 on a basic salary of £460,000.
He replaces Carole Cran, who leaves at the year end to become CFO at Forth Ports.
Aggreko share prices rose 1.3 per cent on the announcement in early trading. The company’s stock has been gradually climbing in recent weeks following a slump in March due to a profit warning.
“On behalf of the Board and the Company, I am delighted to welcome Heath to Aggreko,” said CEO Chris Weston.
“Heath is an experienced CFO and proven leader and I look forward to working with him as we continue to position Aggreko for the future. In addition, I would like to thank Carole Cran for her substantial contribution to Aggreko and wish her all the best with her new opportunity.”
