UK Power Reserve is tendering for 200MW of gas reciprocating engines to deliver the Capacity Market agreements it was awarded in last February’s auction.
The firm, recently acquired by Sembcorp, wants to hear from engine suppliers that can help deliver its commitments ahead of schedule.
UK boss Sam Wither said the firm is “confident we will be able to attract offers from a wide range of suppliers to ensure we continue to use the best available technology in our operations”.
Interested parties should submit details to UK Power Reserve head of procurement and contracts, Martin Kane.
