Chinese truck manufacturer Sany has announced the European launch of its new e263 electric truck.
The 4×2 vehicle features a 636kWh lithium iron phosphate battery on an 800V platform, and has a range of about 500km.
It also includes an 800-volt dual motor eAxle specifically designed for use in heavy-duty long-haul transportation.
The electric motors generate a continuous output of 420kW as well as a peak output of 730kW.
Also, the mPTO as a separate eMotor with 45kW continues output to operate hydraulic or mechanical work equipment during driving.
In addition to 400kW CCS charging, the e263 will later enable megawatt charging (MCS).
Deliveries of the e263 will start in the first quarter of 2026 and various rigid variants will be available by the end of next year.
Sany eTrucks and Alltrucks Truck and Trailer will offer a comprehensive service network with more than 700 service workshops across Europe alongside a German-based spare parts storage centre managed by Putzmeister.
To minimise unplanned workshop visits for customers, the package will also include 24/7 roadside assistance, telematic diagnosis and full-service contracts ranging from six to 10 years.
Kevin Eichele, Head of Product and Business Development Sany eTrucks Europe said, “This launch builds on the proven success of Sany’s 8×4 408P and e435 electric chassis, which is already setting new standards in European heavy-duty construction segment with its advanced technology, impressive total cost of ownership, and reliability.
“By offering both the new 4×2 e263 and established 8×4 e435 electric models, Sany eTrucks supported by Putzmeister provides European fleet operators with tailored solutions for a wide variety of applications.”
