Market-wide Half-Hourly Settlement (MHHS) is a major initiative being introduced by energy regulator Ofgem to significantly reform how electricity is generated, used and stored in the UK.
The aim is to facilitate a more accurate and timely picture of energy use for every consumer – as well as the wider industry. This insight will support the development of a smarter and more flexible energy system as we transition to net zero.
