Bumblebee has partnered with NexBlue to launch a new EV charger designed to make charging at home more accessible for businesses and homeowners.
Capable of providing up to 7.4 kW of charging power on a single phase, the Bumblebee Point is a high-performance wall-mounted EV charger.
It includes over-the-air (OTA) updates via Wi-Fi, 4G eSIM, or Bluetooth, as well as solar panel compatibility.
The black charging box, which is easy to install and compatible with all grid systems, also meets UK smart charging regulations and features integrated PEN fault protection.
First founded in 2019, Scotland-based Bumblebee joined the Arnold Clark Group in 2023, and can install every Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV)-approved charge point on the UK market.
Last year, the company delivered more than 11,000 installations across the UK.
NexBlue is a Swedish EV charger company founded by global entrepreneurs from Sweden, Norway, Belgium and Hong Kong.
Anthony Brien, Country Manager at NexBlue, said, ‘Partnering with BumblebeeEV and Arnold Clark is a significant step forward in the UK market for NexBlue as we continue to bring safe, efficient, and affordable charging for our customers.’
Brian Coyle, Operations Director at Bumblebee, said, ‘The Bumblebee Point is a very exciting and innovative product, and we’re thrilled to bring it to the market.
