Calisen Metering Services, part of Calisen Group, has secured a new contract with So Energy Trading (So Energy) to provide meter reading services across Great Britain.
So Energy, which delivers renewable energy, smart tariffs, and solar solutions to almost 300,000 homes, is investing in improved data quality as it prepares for future industry change. As the energy sector transitions towards Market-wide Half-Hourly Settlement (MHHS), access to accurate, high-quality meter data will play an increasingly important role in supporting billing performance, customer service and regulatory requirements.
The multi-year agreement follows a competitive tender process in which Calisen demonstrated its capability, scale and reliability to deliver consistent, proven field services at national scale. Calisen’s experience in meter reading services and operational delivery was a key differentiator.
Under the new partnership, Calisen will deploy its nationwide field service operatives to undertake meter reading and site visit activity across all of Great Britain. This will support So Energy’s continued focus on customer service, operational excellence and compliance with an evolving regulatory framework.
