Carillion has won a £90m facilities management contract from Centrica.
The five-year framework runs for five years with the option of a further two years.
Carillion will deliver hard and soft facilities management services, including asset surveys and planning, planned and reactive maintenance, cleaning, security and catering for Centrica’s 115 locations in the UK and Republic of Ireland, together with the delivery of certain construction projects for Centrica.
“We have worked closely with Centrica since 2005 and built a strong partnership,” said Richard Howson, Carillion’s chief executive. “We are delighted to be extending this relationship, which is based on a one-team approach in which Carillion and Centrica work together to deliver award-winning standards of facilities management and customer service across all Centrica and British Gas sites.”

Proud to being a member of the Mowlem TFM team that originally won this contract in 2005, before being being taken over by Carillon who have retained the contract ever since.
Dear Diana – just noted your positive comment in response to the recent Centrica/Carillion news story. Great to be reminded that these corporate relationships are built over a very long period of time and at different stages of corporate development. Will log your response in reporting the media coverage. There are probably people here who will recognise your name and contribution. All the very best with your current endeavours. Do get in touch with an update on your current situation.
