Nationwide renewable energy system provider, Geo Green Power, has announced it is to launch a new, multi-tier incentive programme that can see existing customers and partners get paid hundreds of pounds, if they successfully refer another household or business for a new solar, battery or heat pump installation.
Geo Green Power has launched the programme as a reaction to the current volatility of UK energy prices and believes the incentive will help get more consumers and business owners using renewable energy that can ultimately help them take more control of their energy.
The programme – ‘PowerShare’ – is split into three arms, each offering specific referral benefits and it covers both Geo Green Power’s domestic and commercial offering.
These are:
‘PowerShare Business’, which is for any commercial and business owner and sees a 1% credit or rebate for any new commercial customer projects they refer. The new customer will also get a choice of either five years’ free monitoring or two years’ service and maintenance on their new systems.
‘PowerShare Home’, which is for domestic referrals where individuals can receive a £350 payment for a domestic referral. The programme is open to any UK resident over the age of 18 and the new customer will also get their first service and maintenance visit for free.
‘PowerShare Team’, which is an exclusive offer for any employee that works for a commercial customer and can see them get £500 off their own domestic installation.
There are no limits to the number of referrals a person or business can make, but these can only be qualified once projects are successfully completed. In addition, the mechanics to access the programme have been made to be as simple as possible, with referrers not needing to pay any sign-up fee or have any form of subscription with Geo Green Power.
James Cunningham, the Managing Director of Geo Green Power, offered more details about why the firm has launched PowerShare, “It’s no secret that the UK still has some of the highest electricity prices in Europe and this is only made worse with the almost daily changes we’re seeing with the energy markets – with both causing undue stress and concern for thousands of homes and businesses around the country. July will also see another increase in the energy price cap for consumers, so we feel the timing is perfect!
“With PowerShare, we want to support our customers and empower them with the ability to take back more control of their energy use and costs through our smart, renewable technologies.”
