Knight Frank, a leading global property consultancy, has announced a new three-year renewable energy supply contract with TotalEnergies.

The contract, which over the course of three years is valued at over £180m, covers the commercial properties that Knight Frank manages in the UK, their own occupied offices and other properties where they are retained as energy and sustainability advisors.

This provides hourly matched REGO-backed power, access to corporate power purchase agreements (CPPAs) and green gas.

Knight Frank will be delivering significant CO2 savings across both their own estate and their managed portfolio as a result, totalling over 100,000 tonnes of CO2 saved across the three years.

David Goatman, Global Head of Energy and Sustainability at Knight Frank commented, “For over 15 years we have been advising our clients on sustainable energy procurement strategies and a partnership of this scale is a testament to our ability to deliver renewable energy at an attractive cost to our clients.

“Contracts such as this play an important role in portfolio decarbonisation strategies and demonstrate a clear statement of our own corporate commitments to sustainable business operations.”

Michael Lewis, National Head of Property Management at Knight Frank said, “We manage a commercial property portfolio of over £20bn of across the UK and this contract covers the vast majority of our AUM (assets under management).”
