Ohme is to become the exclusive home EV charging partner in the UK for Genesis, the South Korean maker of premium electrified cars.
The company will supply the charger, the installation service and a support package to the Genesis Motor UK retail network, as well as provide training and assistance for retailers.
Headquartered in Frankfurt, Genesis Motor Europe also operates in Germany, and Switzerland, and will launch in France, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands during 2026.
Its model line-up includes the GV60, Electrified GV70 and Electrified G80.
Ohme’s dynamic EV chargers use live data from the grid and are compatible with the UK’s most affordable energy tariffs.
Its chargers. which automatically adjust to optimise the cost of charging, also feature a solar boost function to reduce reliance on the grid.
Ohme offers drivers the option to charge their car when renewable energy generation on the national grid is at its highest, further lowering their CO2 impact.
In addition, Ohme is the official charger provider for Hyundai as well as Motability Operations, the largest fleet operator in the UK.
