RAW Charging has installed EV chargers at over 50 Greene King Sites since March 2023 – one of the fastest rollouts in the hospitality sector.

The two firms began their partnership in October 2021, and the deployment includes a plan to bring online a further 25 sites per month.

In total Raw has activated more than 500 EV charge points for Greene King across the UK since the installation programme started.

As part of the agreement, Raw funds, installs and operates the chargers for Greene King for selected sites.

The chargers are designed for locations with a dwell time of more than two hours, such as at Greene King pubs and hotels.

Raw Charging’s other major clients include Merlin Entertainments, Bespoke Hotels and National Trust alongside commercial property owners where RAW is developing brownfield land into their own Charge Yards including new developments in Bishop Auckland and Croydon.

The firm’s new ultra-rapid electric vehicle charging hub in the heart of Croydon, which opened earlier this year, features four dual Alpitronic 150 kW chargers which allows eight vehicles to charge simultaneously.

Jason Simpson, CEO, Raw Charging, said: “EV charging is now a must have for hospitality, leisure and retail businesses. The speed of our rollout at Greene King sites demonstrates the importance of reliable charging infrastructure for one of the UK’s leading pub retailers.

“At Raw Charging, we are a leading provider of EV charging solutions and we are seen as the go-to charge point operator for businesses in the hospitality, leisure and retail sectors.”
