The Association for Energy Performance and Verification (AEPV) proudly announces its launch, marking a significant step forward in the UK’s energy performance and sustainability landscape. AEPV offers a collaborative platform for organisations, professionals, and stakeholders committed to advancing measurable energy performance, decarbonisation, and sustainability goals.
Who we are
AEPV brings together a network of professionals, energy managers, and policymakers to champion best practices in energy performance. By promoting robust frameworks like Measurement & Verification (M&V) and facilitating knowledge-sharing, AEPV empowers organisations to make evidence-based energy decisions.
Our mission is to create a supportive environment where public and private sector organisations can access the resources, insights, and community they need to deliver transparent and measurable energy performance outcomes.
What we do
- Professional Development: Support for globally recognised certifications like the Performance Measurement and Verification Analyst (PMVA) and Expert (PMVE).
- Knowledge and Resources: Guidance on implementing energy performance frameworks such as M&V, ensuring accountability and transparency in energy savings.
- Networking Opportunities: A forum for collaboration, enabling professionals to share insights and innovations in energy performance.
Why energy performance and M&V Matter
As organisations across the UK strive toward ambitious net-zero goals, the ability to measure, verify, and improve energy performance is essential. M&V offers a transparent methodology for quantifying energy savings, ensuring that performance improvements are credible and aligned with sustainability objectives.
“Energy performance is the cornerstone of a sustainable future – it’s about more than cost savings; it’s about measurable outcomes, accountability, and advancing decarbonisation. At AEPV, we’ll bring together expertise, resources, and a collaborative community to empower organisations across the UK to lead with confidence in achieving their energy and sustainability goals,” said Robin Hale, Director of AEPV.
