Vehicle auction specialist BCA has announced the opening of a new EV battery repair centre at its site in Doncaster.
The facility – managed by BCA Fleet Solutions – offers a wide range of battery repairs for EVs and hybrids entering the remarketing process, when the manufacturer warranty has expired or become invalidated.
Services offered across all makes and models include diagnosis, insulation testing, module repair and replacement, casing repairs, drive motor replacements, cellular balancing, DC charger and inverter repairs, green parts supply where available and high voltage component replacement.
Repairs are carried out to OEM standards and provide a comprehensive and cost-effective solution for BCA’s customers, ensuing EVs and hybrids can be assessed, repaired and then offered for sale promptly and in the best possible condition.
BCA also carries out on-site battery repair at the Renault Import Centre in Portbury, supporting Renault UK with traction battery maintenance facilities.
