Fastned, a leading European fast charging company, has grown its network of charging stations to over 400 locations.
406 Fastned locations are now open to drivers across the Netherlands, France, Belgium, Germany, the UK, Switzerland, Denmark, Spain and Italy.
Beyond growing the network’s size, Fastned also expanded its station concept in 2025. The company showcased a new vision for an all-electric service area with a new flagship location in Gentbrugge, Belgium, in September 2025.
The first Fastned location on the German Autobahn opened in July, while the company also opened its first locations specially designed to accommodate electric trucks.
The design of Fastned’s ‘Solar Tree’ canopy, easy to see from the road and creating a distinctive and welcome atmosphere, was recognised with its nomination as a finalistat 2025 DesignEuropa Awards.
Fastned’s first station opened in Palmpol, the Netherlands, in 2013. The company celebrated its 100th charging station in June 2019, with the 200th opening in Germany in May 2022 and the 300th location arriving in the Netherlands in January 2024. The company intends to open a network of 1000 fast charging stations across Europe by 2030.
Fastned will publish its Q4 2025 trading update on 15 January 2026, including confirmation of revenue related to charging over the full year 2025 and the company’s guidance for 2026.
“2025 was another record year for Fastned, and I’m extremely proud that we now have over 400 stations, all in premium A-locations and offering best-in-class charging, across nine countries – no small feat! The future of European transport is electric, and Fastned is set to continue leading the transition as we look ahead for another huge year in 2026,” says Michiel Langezaal, Co-Founder and CEO of Fastned.
“In 2025, Fastned laid the foundations to scale, delivering on our guidance while building the capabilities and discipline we need for the next stage of growth. In 2026, we’re focused on optimising our scale up: empowering country teams to move faster within clear guardrails and make smart, long term choices that have a lasting impact on our stations and customer experience across Europe, as we cement Fastned’s role as a leading fast charging operator and a reference point for thought leadership in our industry,” comments Françoise Poggi, COO of Fastned.
