Leap 24 has officially opened its new six-bay ultra-rapid EV charging station in Pinner, West London.
The Eastcote location features six ultra-rapid charging bays, with the possibility of up to 300kW per bay, enabling drivers to recharge in minutes.
These extra-large, accessible bays are designed not only for cars and private hire vehicles, but also for larger city logistics vehicles, such as delivery vans and even Luton-sized vans.
Founded in 2021, Leap 24 is a Dutch charge point operator which is building a fast-growing network of ultra-rapid EV charging stations across North-West Europe, focused on strategic city locations.
Pelle Schlichting, Founder and CEO of Leap 24 UK, said, “Eastcote, Pinner is a perfect example of how we design our charging hubs with city logistics in mind.
“With the possibility of up to 300 kW per bay, this station provides the speed and accessibility that modern electric mobility demands.”
Paul Huijts, Netherlands Ambassador to the UK, who attended the launch said, “I am impressed by the entrepreneurship and innovation that Leap 24 has shown here.
“In a challenging city like London, where land is scarce, Leap 24 has found smart solutions and the right locations to enable sustainable mobility.
“This Eastcote, Pinner station is a strong example of how Dutch and UK expertise can come together to accelerate the transition to low-carbon transport.”
Earlier this month, Leap 24 UK unveiled a new six-bay ultra-rapid EV charging station in Garston, Watford, strategically placed off the North Orbital and within close proximity to both the M25 and M1 motorways.
