Northern Powergrid seeks 100MW of flex

0

Northern Powergrid is attempting to procure up to 100MW of flexible demand or generation via a reverse online auction.

The minimum threshold is 100kW and the distribution network operator said it is keen to hear from major energy users such as factories or supermarkets, power generators, aggregators and those with storage assets.

To be able to bid for flex contracts, those assets must be located in: St Andrews Road (Huddersfield), Staygate (West Yorkshire), Wold Newton (East Yorkshire), Featherstone (West Yorkshire), Greatham (County Durham), Denwick (Northumberland) and Guisborough (North Yorkshire).
