RAW Charging has begun work installing EV chargers at two McArthurGlen Designer Outlets in the UK.
A total of 10 EV charging bays will be installed at the company’s West Midlands site in Cannock, with 24 at its Swindon location, both due to be completed by mid-2025.
To meet the increasing demand for EV charging, RAW is working with commercial property owners such as Aviva Investors, Segro, Hammerson and Aberdeen to develop brownfield land into ultra rapid EV charging hubs.
RAW provides a turnkey solution for commercial property landlords who have parcels of land that are not being used to their full potential.
On behalf of the landlords, RAW completes the planning, construction and delivery of the scheme turning land that is not being used to its full potential into a yielding asset within the property portfolio.
RAW also works with some of the leading companies in the hospitality, leisure, and retail sectors, and during 2024, it installed chargers for National Trust places, Bespoke Hotels and Merlin Entertainments parks.
Jason Simpson, CEO of RAW Charging, said: “The work we have done demonstrates our dedication to providing a best-in-class EV charging experience to EV drivers who expect a high-quality service at a prestigious and quality brand like McArthurGlen.
“We will continue to deliver solutions for the UK’s largest landlords, delivering ultra-rapid EV charging across their portfolios throughout the country.”
David Jackson, UK Facilities Lead at McArthurGlen said: “We are proud to continue working with RAW and bringing sustainable EV charging solutions to our centres.
“This collaboration reflects our commitment to providing innovative services that meet the evolving needs of our guests, ensuring a seamless and eco-friendly experience for all who visit our centres.”
